MG Motor India Launches New ZS EV Excite Pro Variant with Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof Under Rs 20 Lakh
New Delhi: MG Motor India has introduced a new mid-spec variant in its ZS EV lineup, called the Excite Pro. Priced at Rs 19.98 lakh, this addition makes the ZS EV the only full-electric car priced under Rs 20 lakh in India to feature a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
The Excite Pro variant, which costs Rs 1 lakh more than the base Executive trim, offers a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. This new combination bridges the gap between affordability and premium features, bridging the price gap between the base and top-spec variants.
With the introduction of the Excite Pro, MG Motor India has refreshed its ZS EV lineup. The Excite variant has been replaced by Excite Pro, while the Exclusive has been upgraded to Exclusive Plus, and the Exclusive Pro is now known as Essence. Each variant offers a different set of features that cater to different customer preferences.
The top-of-the-line Essence variant comes with premium features like 360-degree camera, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, 7-inch digital instrument cluster and advanced connected car technology. In terms of safety, all variants are equipped with ADAS, six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and hill descent control.
Under the hood, all variants of the ZS EV are powered by the same 50.3kWh battery pack, mated to a front axle-mounted 177hp electric motor, offering an impressive ARAI-certified range of 461 km.
With competition increasing in the electric vehicle segment, MG Motor India’s strategic move to offer a wide variety of variants ensures that the ZS EV is a must-have for eco-conscious consumers amid growing options like the Tata Nexon EV and the updated Mahindra XUV400. Remains an attractive option.
