New Delhi: Poco India has confirmed the launch date for its first-ever Poco Pad 5G tablet. Set to debut on August 23 at 12 PM, the device is being promoted as an “ultimate entertainment” gadget. Display and Design
Ahead of the launch, Flipkart has revealed key details about the Poco Pad 5G. The tablet will feature a 12.1-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The screen supports 600 nits of brightness and comes with TUV Rheinland Triple certification. The device has noticeable black bars around the edges and will support both a Stylus and a detachable keyboard. It will be available in a blue color option.
Performance and Battery
Globally, the Poco Pad 5G is already available, giving us insights into its expected features in India. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and the display is equipped with Dolby Vision. The tablet houses a 10,000mAh battery, which offers up to 16 hours of continuous video streaming and supports 33W fast charging.
Camera and Connectivity
For photography, the Poco Pad 5G features 8-megapixel cameras on both the front and back. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and even includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Keyboard Features
The Poco Pad Keyboard boasts a 64-key layout for a better typing experience. It includes shortcut key combinations and an independent pen holder. The keyboard, made from black PU material, is resistant to dirt, fingerprints, and oil stains. It offers 760 hours of standby time and 59 hours of continuous use.
Pricing
The Poco Pad 5G is expected to be priced between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 in India, making it a competitive option in the tablet market.
