Porsche Unveils India-Bound Cayenne GTS with 500hp Twin Turbo V8

New Delhi: Porsche has lifted the curtains off the new Cayenne GTS for 2024, boasting enhanced standard features, increased power output, and subtle styling revisions.

Key Highlights:

• Powerful Engine: The Cayenne GTS is propelled by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering a staggering 500hp and 659Nm of torque. This power boost, coupled with an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, enables the SUV to accelerate from 0-100kph in a mere 4.4 seconds.

• Enhanced Design: Porsche’s Sport Design package lends a striking visual appeal to the Cayenne GTS, incorporating gloss black elements such as side skirts, window trims, front inlays, and wheel extensions. Notable updates also include bronze-coloured tailpipes and 21-inch wheels finished in grey.

• Advanced Chassis Technology: The SUV features a lowered stance by 10mm, along with adaptive air suspension equipped with Porsche active suspension management (PASM) and Porsche torque vectoring plus (PTV Plus). These enhancements ensure superior handling and agility on diverse road conditions.

• Porsche is slated to launch the new Cayenne GTS and Cayenne Coupe GTS in India around mid-2024, with an anticipated price tag of approximately Rs 2.5 crore. This model will serve as the sole V8 offering in India, given the low demand for hybrid variants in the market.
