iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max: Significant Shifts
The16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models are expected to see even more substantial changes. While the overall design may remain consistent with earlier models, the Pro variants will feature three cameras: a wide camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto camera.
The primary sensor is expected to stay the same at 48MP with an f/1.78 aperture, offering 2X optical-quality 12MP telephoto shots. The ultra-wide lens will be upgraded to 48MP, incorporating pixel-binning technology that allows for flexible pixel sizes—0.7 micrometers for full-resolution images and 1.4 micrometers in quad-pixel mode for better low-light performance. A 48MP ProRaw camera lens is also rumored, offering more post-processing options.
Introducing the Capture Button
One of the most exciting rumors is the introduction of a dedicated “Capture” button, expected to be available across all 16 models. This button is said to provide greater control over camera functions, such as focus and zoom, making mobile photography more intuitive.
