Toyota Launches New Top-Spec Innova Hycross GX (O) Variant
New Delhi: The Hycross GX (O) commands a premium of approximately Rs 1 lakh over its counterpart, offering added amenities such as front LED fog lights, front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a rear defogger. Inside, a chestnut-themed interior adorned with soft-touch materials on the dash and doors enhances the cabin’s appeal. New fabric seat covers, advanced comfort features like automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay elevate the driving experience.
However, it’s noteworthy that the 8-seater variant of the Hycross GX (O) misses out on certain features like the 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a retractable rear sunshade, resulting in a slightly lower price of Rs 21.13 lakh compared to the 7-seater variant.
Toyota offers the Hycross GX (O) in seven exterior finishes, providing customers with a range of choices to suit their preferences. Under the hood, the vehicle retains the same robust 174hp, 205Nm, 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with a CVT automatic gearbox, promising a fuel efficiency of 16.13kpl.
While the petrol-powered Innova Hycross faces no direct rivals, it competes with seven-seater SUVs like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar. Its badge-engineered counterpart, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, presents stiff competition on the hybrid front.
