New Delhi: The Vivo X Fold 3, alongside its Pro variant, recently debuted in the Chinese market, showcasing an array of impressive features. The base variant of this book-style foldable smartphone is powered by the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, accompanied by a substantial 5,500mAh battery that supports rapid wired charging. Notably, its 8.03-inch 2K primary display and sophisticated 50-megapixel triple rear camera system underline its commitment to both visual excellence and photographic prowess.

While an official confirmation of its Indian release is pending, a report from 91Mobiles suggests that the model slated for the Indian market will claim the title of the “slimmest foldable in the industry,” boasting a sleek 10.2mm thickness when folded. This aligns with the dimensions observed in the Chinese variant, demonstrating consistency across regions.

In China, the Vivo X Fold 3 boasts an impressive 8.03-inch 2K E7 AMOLED main display, complemented by a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) protection. Its performance is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a capacious 1TB of UFS4.0 inbuilt storage. Operating on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4 platform, the device offers a seamless user experience.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel VCS bionic primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an additional 50-megapixel portrait shooter. Both the cover and main displays house a 32-megapixel selfie camera, ensuring stunning captures from every angle.

With a robust 5,500mAh battery and 80W wired fast charging support, the Vivo X Fold 3 offers enduring power and rapid recharging capabilities. Its dimensions, when unfolded, measure 159.96mm x 142.69mm x 4.65mm, while its folded form yields a compact 159.96mm x 72.7mm x 10.2mm profile, facilitating portability without compromising functionality.
