Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport and GT Line Break Cover with Striking Visual Updates

New Delhi: Volkswagen has expanded the Taigun range with the introduction of two new trim levels: Taigun GT Plus Sport and Taigun GT Line available with 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines respectively. The two trims feature a series of visual enhancements compared to the standard Taigun that help them stand out.

On the outside, the Taigun GT Plus Sport gets smoked LED headlamps; carbon steel gray roof; red GT branding on the grille, fenders and rear profile; dark chrome door handles; And red brake calipers. The SUV also gets a chrome delete, with the front grille, diffuser, wing mirrors, alloy wheels and fender badges all covered in gloss black.

Inside the cabin, the GT Plus Sport variant features an all-black theme including black leather upholstery with red stitching, black headliner and gloss black inserts on the dash. Red stitching can also be seen on the steering wheel, while there is a GT logo on the front seats.

The Taigun GT Line, on the other hand, gets similar chrome deletes on the outside but misses out on the red brake calipers and red GT badge on the grille, and instead gets the GT Line badge on the doors.

The Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport is available with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 150hp and 250Nm, while the Taigun GT Line gets a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 115hp.
