Mercedes-Benz India Hits Record Sales, Plans 6 New Models for 2024
Lucknow : Mercedes-Benz, India’s premier luxury carmaker, has introduced two attractive Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) from its global portfolio: the EQA 250+ and EQB 350. These luxury BEVs feature a five-seater configuration and are aimed at young individuals and active families who are early adopters of e-mobility, trendsetters, and highly environment-conscious.

- Robust network of DC Fast and Ultra-Fast Chargers (60 kW and 180 kW) across its Franchise Partner network.

Sales Performance:
- Best-ever H1 2024 and Q2 sales: Mercedes-Benz recorded its highest-ever H1 sales in India, with 9262 units retailed from January to June 2024, a 9% YoY growth.
- SUV Segment: 55% penetration, led by GLA, GLC, GLE, and GLS models.
- Sedan Segment: Strong demand for A-Class, C-Class, outgoing LWB E-Class, and S-Class.
BEV Sales:
- 60% YoY growth in H1 2024, with 5% penetration in total sales.
- Six BEVs to be launched by the end of 2024, including EQA 250+ and EQB 350.

- Star Agility Plan: Easy ownership with 20% downpayment, four-year tenure, EMI of approx. Rs. 68,000.
