MetLife Hack4Job 2025 Spotlights Top Tech Talent in Hyderabad

Candidates compete for open MetLife Data, AI and Engineering roles in India

Hyderabad –MetLife, a leading global provider of insurance, annuities and employee benefit programs, concluded Hack4Job 2025, a hackathon aimed at identifying and recruiting top tech talent in Hyderabad for open data, AI and engineering roles.

The in-person coding event drew more than 4,400 registrations. From the original pool of registrants, a group of 150 technologists, including Full Stack, AI and Data Engineers along with DevSecOps, SDET and Agile Coaching professionals, were shortlisted to participate in Hack4Job. The event provided participants with a unique opportunity to showcase their skills, collaborate on innovative solutions to real-world business challenges, interact with MetLife technology mentors from Japan, Malaysia, the U.S., Australia and India, and a chance to secure an interview.

“We are particularly impressed with the exceptional talent we met during the event,” said Siew Choo Soh, Chief Information Officer, Asia. “They worked together as a team to solve the challenge, demonstrating their problem-solving skills, agility to learn and ability to navigate the unknowns. What they were able to accomplish in such a short period of time was truly impressive.”

The winning Hack4Job team developed an AI-driven mental health wellness solution that MetLife plans to add as a feature in its digital offerings for customers. The top three teams in Hack4Job took home tech prizes for their contributions.
