Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 India launch in 2024

New Delhi: The Interceptor Bear 650 features the proven air/oil-cooled, 648cc, parallel-twin engine, with a groundbreaking departure: it’s the first in its class to adopt a two-into-one exhaust system, distinct from the twin pipes of other 650cc Royal Enfield models. This innovation not only enhances off-road performance by significantly reducing weight but also underscores Royal Enfield’s commitment to advancing motorcycle engineering. The consolidation of the exhaust system is poised to improve maneuverability and agility, crucial for navigating challenging terrain with ease.
This strategic design evolution reflects Royal Enfield’s dedication to pushing boundaries and optimizing rider experience, cementing the Interceptor Bear 650 as a trailblazer in the adventure motorcycle segment. It remains to be seen if Royal Enfield makes any alterations to the 648cc mill, which is rated for 47hp and 52.3Nm of torque on all other models in the range.

Like the Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650, the Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 will also employ a USD fork, not the simpler, telescopic unit seen on the 650 twins. Unlike the other 650s though, the front brake disc is on the left hand side, like the new Himalayan.
