One such initiative is the Malligavad Foundation Project, which focuses on enhancing water retention capacity and implementing natural sewage treatment methods for the betterment of community health and the environment. Additionally, the project involves planting native saplings using the Miyawaki method, thereby expanding urban green spaces and contributing to climate change mitigation efforts.
Transformative Projects
Another notable project is the Miyawaki Afforestation Project, which has transformed a former dump yard into a green oasis in Thane. Through this initiative, thousands of saplings have been planted to increase urban green cover, promote biodiversity, and sequester carbon, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals.
The Solar Blazer Project, in collaboration with the Youth of India Foundation, aims to provide sustainable solar energy solutions to rural communities in Telangana. By establishing microgrids and promoting renewable energy sources, the project not only reduces CO2 emissions but also empowers marginalized tribal villages by offering green skills training.

Participants will utilize various technologies, including open data, AI, and Salesforce tools, to build solutions over two days. The winning team at each event will receive support funds, an opportunity to attend the official awards ceremony in NYC, and pro bono mentorship from Salesforce and its partners.
