In contrast to the standard Bolero Neo offered in three trims, the Bolero Neo Plus is available in two variants, featuring a spacious 9-seater layout compared to the 7-seat configuration of the Bolero Neo. The Bolero Neo Plus shares a similar design to the Bolero Neo but boasts additional length and distinct features, including a revised grille with chrome slats and Mahindra’s ‘Twin Peaks’ logo. The profile showcases its extended dimensions, complemented by fresh 5-spoke alloy wheels.
Notable design differences are evident at the rear, with a rounded appearance and a unique rear bumper, while both models share a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
Inside, the SUV receives updates inspired by the Mahindra Thar, such as a new steering wheel and instrument cluster with twin-pod displays. The infotainment system and climate control dials have been refreshed, accompanied by updated fabric upholstery.
The Bolero Neo Plus includes a 9-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, Aux, and USB connectivity, along with a 6-speaker sound system, all four power windows, manual AC, and a height-adjustable driver seat. Safety features encompass dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front fog lamps, and a reversing camera.
Under the hood, the Bolero Neo Plus houses a sole 2.2-litre diesel engine generating 120 PS and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel-drive configuration.
While it doesn’t directly compete with similar models, the Bolero Neo Plus provides an affordable alternative to Mahindra’s Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N variants.
