The closing ceremony was held from 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM, marking the end of a deeply patriotic and historic journey.
This remarkable yatra began on 17 June 2025 from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Over the course of the journey, the delegation visited and honoured the families of the Rezang La war martyrs across Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab. On 23 July, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Sawan Shivratri, the Yatra reached Rezang La Ahir Dhamin Chushul, Leh–Ladakh, where sacred Ganga Jal was offered through a Kanwar – symbolising national pride, sacrifice, and unity.
The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests: Havaldar Nihal Singh, Havaldar Gaje Singh Yadav, and Captain Ramchandra Yadav all brave survivors of the great battle fought by the Charley Company of 13 Kumaon regiment of Indian Army in 1962 war with China. The Yatra was organised under the leadership of Shri Sawan Singh Rohilla by Shaheed Seva Dal Foundation (Regd.), Gohana, Haryana. It was supported by Major Shaitan Singh Rezang La Shaurya Samiti (Bhopur, Rajasthan) and RezangLa Shaurya Samiti (Regd.), Rewari, Haryana.
Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman of the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI), said: Today, we have all gathered here to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the Battle of Rezang La.
