India vs Australia 2023: Full schedule, match details, venues, date and timings of ODI series

Delhi: In the absence of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul will lead India in the first couple of ODIs against Australia. All the big guns will be back for the final match of the series.

After their success in the Asia Cup 2023, the Indian team will now take on Australia in a 3-match ODI series. This will be the perfect opportunity for the players to put in one final audition before the ICC Cricket World Cup starts next month. For this series, India have announced two squads against the five-time world champions, Australia. In the first two ODIs against Australia, India will be without the services of their captain, Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, the batting mainstay Virat Kohli, and the currently in-form spinner Kuldeep Yadav.

However, they have included experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and the off-spinning all-rounder Washington Sundar for the three-match series. Notably, all-rounder Axar Patel, who sustained an injury during the Asia Cup, is included in the squad exclusively for the third ODI. His participation in the match will be depend upon his match fitness.

●  IND vs AUS, 1st ODI – Friday, 22 September, Mohali

●  IND vs AUS, 2nd ODI – Sunday, 24 September, Indore

●  IND vs AUS, 3rd ODI – Wednesday, 27 September, Rajkot

India and Australia have faced each other in 146 matches in ODI. Out of these 146 games , India have won 54 whereas Australia have come out victorious on 82 occasions . 10 matches ended without a result.
