New Delhi: Motorola unveiled the Moto S50 Neo in China on Tuesday, alongside the Moto Razr 50 series. The company has confirmed that the Moto S50 Neo comes with a four-year warranty. This smartphone features a curved pOLED display, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and Dolby Atmos-enhanced stereo speakers. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 30W wired fast charging. The global or Indian launch dates are yet to be announced.

In China, the Moto S50 Neo is priced starting at CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,100) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 256GB variant is listed at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,400), while the 12GB + 512GB model costs CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs. 21,800). Sales will commence on June 28 through the Lenovo China e-store. The smartphone is available in three color options: Jimo (black), Lanting (blue), and Qingtian (green).
Specifications and Features
The Moto S50 Neo boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak local brightness. The screen is also certified with dual SGS eye protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
In terms of photography, the Moto S50 Neo is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, it sports a 32-megapixel front camera.
The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Security features include an in-display fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options are comprehensive, including 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C. The smartphone also features Dolby Atmos-enhanced dual stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience.
