Realme Teases New P Series; VP Confirms Mid-Range 5G Phones

New Delhi: Realme is gearing up to launch its new P series exclusively in India. The exact launch date is yet to be announced, but Vice President Chase Xu has confirmed its imminent arrival. The Realme P series will focus on delivering enhanced performance and design within the mid-range smartphone segment, aiming to surpass competitors in this space.

The upcoming Realme P series phones will be available exclusively through Flipkart. While specific details on the number of models remain undisclosed, leaks suggest the release of two variants: the Realme P1 Pro and Realme P1. The standard version is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, while the Pro version may come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Pricing estimates hover below Rs 25,000 for the Pro and under Rs 20,000 for the standard version, although official confirmation is pending.

Interestingly, Realme’s existing Narzo series targets similar mid-range buyers, such as the recently launched Narzo 70 Pro priced at Rs 19,999. The potential overlap between the Narzo and P series pricing raises questions about Realme’s marketing strategy and portfolio management.

Xu teased a fresh design approach for the P series, promising to break away from conventional mid-range aesthetics. More details, including the official launch date and phone designs, are expected to be unveiled by Realme soon. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting new lineup!
