SIIMA Awards 2023: Jr NTR Wins The Best Actor, Mrunal Thakur Is Best Debutante.
Delhi: In a glamorous spectacle that unfolded on September 15, the 11th edition of the SIIMA Awards took center stage in the vibrant city of Dubai. This prestigious event seamlessly brought together a constellation of luminaries hailing from the South Indian film industry. The SIIMA Awards, renowned for their recognition of cinematic brilliance in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema, transformed into a mesmerizing star-studded affair that left attendees and viewers captivated. Among the illustrious guests who graced the occasion, notable names like Jr NTR, Rishab Shetty, Mrunal Thakur, and Shruti Haasan sparkled on the red carpet, exuding grace and sophistication.
The South Indian International Film Awards have once again become a hot topic of conversation. This is also crucial because it is impossible to commend South Asian films enough for their dominance since last year. Whereas Bollywood’s Samrat Prithviraj and Shamsera were box office duds last year, South Cinema’s RRR, KGF 2, Sita-Ramam, and Kantara enjoyed enormous success.
Rishab Shetty turned out to be the star of the night as his film Kantara won the most number of awards. However, the Best Film award (Kannada) went to 777 Charlie.

Best Music Director (Telugu): MM Keeravaani for RRR.
Best Lyric Writer (Telugu): Chandrabose for Naatu Naatu in RRR.
Best Playback Singer – Male (Telugu): Miryala Ram for DJ Tillu title track.
Best Playback Singer – Female (Telugu): Singer Mangli, for Jinthaak in Dhamaka.
