New Delhi – The Indian Yoga Association (IYA) successfully hosted its 4th National State Chapter Conclave on March 3, 2025, under the theme “The Present and Future.” The conclave brought together key stakeholders, yoga luminaries, and policy leaders to strengthen the role of state chapters and discuss strategies for accreditation, certification, and research in yoga.
Established in 2008, the Indian Yoga Association (IYA) is a premier body dedicated to the promotion and advancement of yoga. It serves as an umbrella organization uniting all yoga paramparas and traditions to uphold the purity and scientific foundation of yoga.

The afternoon sessions featured an inspirational address by Maa Dr. Hansaji Yogendra, President, IYA and Guruji Dr. H.R. Nagendra, Governing Council Member, followed by in-depth discussions on advancing yoga research and advocating for the establishment of State Yoga Commissions, moderated by Dr. Rakesh Sarwal.
The event concluded with a keynote address by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji, Chairman, IYA, who also launched the IYA Mobile App and presided over the Awards and Recognitions Ceremony.
