Mercedes-Benz strengthens its BEV portfolio, launches the Top End, dynamic EQE 500 4MATIC SUV at its new luxurious ‘Customer Experience Centre’ in Pune.
Pune: Mercedes-Benz India has launched the EQE 500 4MATIC SUV, a dynamic luxury electric vehicle (BEV). This addition strengthens Mercedes-Benz’s Luxury BEV portfolio and aligns with their aggressive BEV roadmap for India. The EQE 500 SUV offers spaciousness, electrifying design, cutting-edge technology, sporty performance and striking interiors with groundbreaking technologies similar to the flagship EQS.

This luxurious facility, inspired by MAR 20X, offers an immersive Mercedes-Benz experience, including private consultations, personalized car deliveries and hosting corporate events for top-end customers. Mercedes-Benz Charging Network will be available to every EV customer in India by Q4’ 2023:
Mercedes-Benz is extending its OEM-blacked ‘Ultra-Fast’ charging network to all electric vehicle (EV) customers in India. EV owners can access this service at select Mercedes-Benz franchise locations across the country on a chargeable basis. During showroom hours, customers can enjoy luxurious amenities, including the Mercedes Café, Wi-Fi, and personalized treatment while their EVs charge. This service is accessible via a mobile app aggregator. Mercedes-Benz customers will receive complimentary charging till end of calendar year 2023.
New ‘Customer Experience Center’: First time to offer curated Customer Deliveries* and Corporate events:
The EQE 500 4MATIC SUV was launched at the new ‘Customer Experience Center’ in Chakan Pune, India. With this, Mercedes-Benz will create a 360-degree curated experience for Mercedes-Benz customers by offering personalized consultation, guided factory tours, and an opportunity to experience the off-roading prowess of their cars on the ‘SUV Track’. The customers can utilize the facility for the first time, for special car deliveries. All Mercedes-Benz Top-End-Vehicle customers can avail the ‘Customer Experience Centre’ to host their own associates and guests for corporate events subject to terms and conditions.
Technical specifications of the EQE 500 4MATIC SUV:
The EQE 500 4MATIC SUV features dual permanently excited synchronous motors (PSM) with a total output of 300 kW and 858 Nm of torque. It’s an all-wheel-drive vehicle that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210 km/h. The 90.56 kWh battery operates at 400 Volts and offers both 11 kW onboard AC charging and 170 kW DC fast charging. It provides a range of up to 550 km (WLTP) and has an electrical consumption between 189.0 to 225.0 Wh/km. The SUV’s weight is 2560 kg, ensuring a balance of performance and efficiency.
The EQE 500 4MATIC SUV boasts a range of premium features, including MBUX Hyper screen, Burmester 3D Surround Sound, with 15 speakers and a 90.56 kWh battery with 550 km range. It offers a robust charging network with 140+ stations open to all EV customers, irrespective of brand. The vehicle comes with a 10-year battery warranty, 2-year service intervals and service packages starting at INR 90,000. Its introductory price is INR 1.39 crores (All India ex-showroom).
